Join us to bring modern software and AI to one of the world's most important coastal industries.
Catchwise started with a simple idea:
fisheries generate massive amounts of data — and skippers deserve tools that make it usable in real time.
Founded in 2023 after winning the FishAI competition, Catchwise combines AIS, catch history, oceanographic data, and machine learning into one fast, dependable platform. The goal is straightforward: help vessels fill their quotas with less time and fuel, and support sustainable fishing without adding complexity on board.
We work closely with coastal communities and crews, visiting ports and vessels from Tromsø to Austevoll. Hundreds of Norwegian vessels now use Catchwise at sea. Backed by leading Norwegian and international investors, we are expanding across Denmark, Iceland, the UK, the Faroe Islands — and more.
We're building the modern software platform for wild-capture fisheries, and we're just getting started.
Wild fisheries operate with tight margins, variable conditions, and heavy data flows. Decisions matter every hour at sea.
We build tools that turn complex information into something simple, fast, and trustworthy — directly supporting experienced crews in working efficiently and safely.
We keep the team small and the bar high. Our people are top in their fields, and we expect the same level of grit and ownership from everyone who joins.
You'll work alongside fast, sharp colleagues, ship to production quickly, and see your work used offshore within days. It's a place for people who want to learn fast, solve real problems, and take responsibility end to end.
We collaborate closely with vessels and communities across the North Atlantic — Norway, Iceland, Denmark, the UK, the Faroes, and more.
We meet regularly on boats, in ports, and in our Oslo office, combining the energy of a growing startup hub with the grounding of real field work on the coast.
