Read the area at a glance

Until now, you had to go looking for where vessels had been actively fishing. Now it's part of how you read the map.

  • Fishing activity at a glance – Spot where the fleet has been fishing the moment you open the map.
  • Always on – Fishing tracks are part of the map, shown as blue dashed lines. You instantly see where vessels have been working in the area.
  • Tied to your track length – The activity you see follows the track length you've chosen, from the last 3 hours up to 7 days. Adjust the window and the picture updates with it.
  • See who's been there – Hover any track to identify the vessel, or click for the full picture.

The result is a much sharper picture of the area. Where it's been fished becomes part of the map itself, not something you check once in a while.

Keep an eye on the vessels that matter

Some boats are worth following more closely than others — your own fleet, or the skippers whose moves tell you something. We've reworked how saved vessels are presented, so the boats you actually care about are easier to find and follow.

  • Clearer list view – Saved vessels are organised so you can scan them quickly.
  • Track all – Track all your saved vessels with one click.

Save a vessel in seconds

Adding a vessel to your saved list is now as simple as it should be.

  • Drag to save – Grab a selected vessel from the list and drop it into your saved vessels. That's it.
  • No extra steps – No menus, no dialogs, no hunting for the right button.

Why we built this

This release is about getting out of the way — and about making sure you don't miss what matters. Less clicking, fewer blind spots, more fishing.

It's live in Catchwise now.
